Quote of the Day
The best way to keep children at home is to make the home atmosphere pleasant, and let the air out of the tires. ~Dorothy Parker
Spring Break
I often hear parents say they are so glad that break is over so that the kids will be back in school. Not me. I always feel blessed to have my son home, even if it does mean shouting over the top of Rock Band, buying more milk, surrendering my computer time, washing more clothes. Because one day, he will not live here anymore. One day, he'll be padding down another hallway, chatting on another phone, eating a lunch that I didn't pack.
