A "MOM" BLOG FOR ALL OF US

You may wonder about the title of my blog. Let me explain. One day long ago when I was getting my son ready for his bath, he asked if I could "Make it warmer." I was surprised by this request as the water seemed plenty warm to me, if not hot. Immediately I received a treasured glimpse into the amazing mind of a child: what he really wanted was for the water to be cooled. After all, he explained in his kid-like way: warm is COOLER than hot. "Make it warmer." I thought that was brilliant. I still do.

KEEP IN TOUCH

Our oldest nephew and our son are best friends; if not more like brothers. From the day J was born, 4-year-old D would ask: Can J play yet? It was so cute. D is now in college and J in 10th grade. Whenever they get together they are two peas in a pod, cracking jokes, each making the other laugh. D has always made time for J, even with his busy schedule of classes and working and living a city away. I have learned from him to  make every effort to stay close. The result will be very well worth it.

  1. This is so true. You have taught me to value family even if we do not see each other often. We are still close. I love watching D and J together or J and A. I really appreciate the love that flows from you and yours. Love you
